Preconference workshop – face-to-face in Lyon
3-hour interactive ‘Masterclass’ session, intended to give practical tips on a topical issue in assessment or evaluation, and suggestions for implementation in participants’ own context. All participants and presenters will be in Lyon. Sessions will not be streamed or recorded.

Workshops will take place in Zoom rooms with the opportunity for breakouts. Online workshops are intended for online participants only, and presenters will also be entirely online. Sessions will not be streamed or recorded.
Conference workshop – face-to-face in Lyon
90 minute interactive workshop on an aspect of assessment or evaluation. All participants and presenters will be in Lyon and sessions will not be streamed or recorded.

90 minute interactive workshop on an aspect of assessment or evaluation. Workshops will take place in Zoom rooms with the opportunity for breakouts. Online workshops are intended for online participants only, and presenters will also be online. Sessions will not be streamed or recorded.
Symposium – face-to-face in Lyon
90 minute session on a theme of topical interest or debate in assessment or evaluation. Presentations from panellists to take no more than 45 minutes, with remaining time for discussion; maximum 5 panellists one of whom should be the moderator. All presenters will be in Lyon. Sessions will also be live streamed to the online audience who can ask questions and join in the discussion. Recordings will be available for later viewing.
Oral presentation – face-to-face in Lyon
10 minute presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Up to 6 presentations in a themed session of 90 minutes. Presenters and participants will all be in Lyon and sessions will not be streamed or recorded.

10 minute presentation followed by 5 minutes for questions and discussion. Up to 6 presentations in a themed session of 90 minutes. All participants and presenters will be online. Sessions will take place in Zoom rooms and will be recorded for later viewing.
ePoster – face-to-face in Lyon
3 minute introduction to the poster followed by 3 minutes for questions and discussion. Up to 15 presentations in a themed session of 90 minutes. Presenters and participants will all be in Lyon and sessions will not be streamed or recorded. All ePosters are hosted in the ePoster Showcase on the Kubify platform and can be viewed at any time by conference participants.

Round Table Discussion – face-to-face in Lyon
Exploration of a specific topic of current interest in health professions assessment. The abstract submitter will be the presenter/chairperson and will introduce her/his perspective of the topic in 5 minutes and then invite others attending to contribute to the discussion that follows, to pool expertise. These are participatory sessions where all are expected to contribute. Presenters and participants will all be in Lyon and sessions will not be streamed or recorded.
Meet the Expert – face-to-face in Lyon
An opportunity to meet with an expert in a specific area of assessment, in a small group. Experts and participants will all be in Lyon and sessions will not be streamed or recorded.
Message for presenters
Presenters are asked to confirm their acceptance of the presentation as offered to conferences@amee.org by 23 May.
Presenters should register and pay the appropriate registration fee by 20 June in order to be included in the Ottawa 2022 programme.
